  • A croquet mallet in the other
  • And the trees around the garden are just starting to turn

Mules on Maple is our first Greenwich fall garden party, and we’re keeping it small: 25 guests, good drinks, good food, and lawn games on the grass behind the house. A lot of our neighbors don’t know the garden is back there. Come see it, meet a few new faces, and bring a friend who hasn’t been yet.

What’s included: $50 per guest

  • Two drink tickets
  • A buffet (so far the menu includes charcuterie, cheese and fruit, crudités, deviled eggs, & a fig and prosciutto flatbread)
  • Lawn games all afternoon
  • A cash bar once you use your tickets

The drinks

Paul, our bartender, is building the list around the season. Expect:

  • Moscow mules in copper mugs (including a Maple Cranberry Mule)
  • Hot apple cider (spiked or not)
  • A pomegranate spritz
  • And a pear ginger margarita
  • Plus our wines and beers

There are non-alcoholic options too, so everyone has something good in hand.

Lawn games

Wickets & Wine: a croquet court set up on the lawn.
Bocce & Bourbon: bocce for anyone who’d rather roll than swing.

No experience needed. I love croquet, though I’ve never been good at it, so you’ll be in good company.

Your MC for the afternoon

I’m Colin Pearson, the fourth-generation innkeeper here, and I’ll be your MC. Paul and our team are running the party.

I’ll be there to say hello, make introductions, and lose at croquet.

How tickets work

Tickets are $50 per guest. We’re keeping the party to 25 guests, so buy your tickets below to save your spot.

Rain or shine

The party goes on rain or shine. If the weather turns, we’ll move into The Lounge and inside Stanton House Inn.

A note on photos

A photographer may be with us for part of the afternoon. If you’d rather not be in the photos, just let her know.
