Outdoor Fall Arts Festival at the Bruce Museum

For those looking for restful activities for Colombus Day Weekend, the 33rd annual Outdoor Fall Arts Festival at the Bruce Museum is happening the weekend of October 11th and 12th.

This is always a well-attended event featuring some of the best artists from across the country. This year, 85 artists are planning to attend. The artists will be present throughout the weekend to answer questions, chat with visitors, and (they hope, at least) sell their work. All art on display will be for sale, by the way.

These artists, many of them new this year, will be displaying their wares throughout the weekend, rain or shine, which will include: paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, mixed media pieces, and both color and black and white photography.

The festival will be running from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $8 for visitors, while museum members and children under the age of 5 are free.

So be sure to stop-by at some point during the weekend, and maybe pick-up a new piece or two for your walls, and benefit the Bruce Museum!
