Greenwich Reindeer Festival: A Lighthearted Must-See

holiday wreath on a vintage truckWhat do you think of when you think of enjoying winter, especially what the holiday season has to offer?

The first thing that comes to mind is all that a Hallmark movie includes:

  • Snow blanketing trees
  • Colored lights draped around homes
  • And a walk through the park with mittens, a warm hat, an even warmer coat, and a cup of a hot chocolate

Not to mention, this is likely all happening in a quaint town where everyone knows everyone.

You may be wondering, Where can I experience this too?

Look no further. Come on over to Greenwich, especially in time for the annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival. It officially opens the day after Thanksgiving in Connecticut.

When Is the Greenwich Reindeer Festival Held?

From Friday, November 25 until Christmas Eve, locals and tourists can unite under their very own North Pole, equipped with a pole on North Street. No, it’s not a joke.

What Is There to Do at the Greenwich Reindeer Festival?

What better way to get a picture with Santa than in a mini North Pole and not a mall?

Minutes from downtown Greenwich, visitors and the community is invited to Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses, where the Greenwich Reindeer Festival occurs.

The reindeers will make Sam Bridge their home. And visitors can experience the magic of Christmas in their own Connecticut backyard.
