It was originally designed in 199 by Geoffrey Cornish and renovated in 2005 by Robert McNeil. The course plays at 6,509 yards from the back tee and has a par of 72.

2. Saxon Woods Golf Course

Saxon Woods Golf Course has a rolling and wooded landscape that challenges golfers of all skill levels. It was designed by architect Tom Winton and opened to the public in 1931. 3. E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course

The E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course is also known as “The Heights.” The course was built in 1921 and opened in 1922. In 1925 it expanded from nine holes to the 18 holes that are still there today. The course was designed by Maurice McCarthy Sr. of New York who also designed other notable clubs such as Hershey Country Club and Knickerbocker Country Club in New Jersey. The 18-hole course has a par of 71 and plays at 5,931 yards from the blue tees, which are the furthest back.

4. Pound Ridge Golf Course

Designed by legendary golf course designer Pete Dye, Pound Ridge is one of the best golf courses in CT near Greenwich. It is located in Pound Ridge just north of New York City.
