Room 12 is one of the most popular Greenwich accommodations of our guests.
Located on the ground-level floor , just a few steps up from the living room, this room has a king-size bed , roomy sitting area and a refrigerator .
This room also features a Duxiana mattress , a superior Swedish mattress. It also features a spacious bathroom with shower and tub.
Room 12 was the sun room when our historic mansion was a private residence before the Stock Market Crash of 1929. Today, the room still offers gorgeous views of the outdoor pool and gardens located on the southern side of Stanton House Inn.

The south-facing windows offer views of the south lawn, pool, and patio of the house.

Innkeeper Colin pulled the library table from a library in another part of the house. It originally came from a home in Danbury.
The oxblood leather chair came from the same private library room. It originally arrived at the Inn from a home in Westport.
The majority of the pieces in Room 12 are from Innkeeper Colin’s private collection.

Innkeeper Colin’s a bibliophile, his books have wound-up all over the house after they started to overflow from his apartment and the main library.
